Before the numbers — understanding what drives price makes every quote easier to evaluate.

Time on site is the biggest variable. A 30-minute headshot session and a two-day conference are fundamentally different scopes. Most photographers price by half-day or full-day blocks rather than hourly rates, because the setup, travel and equipment involved makes very short bookings inefficient for both sides.

Number of people or locations adds complexity. A single executive portrait is straightforward. A team of 40 people across three office floors requires scheduling, coordination and a higher volume of selects and retouching. Both can be done — the price just reflects the reality of what is involved.

Retouching scope varies by format. Event photography typically requires lighter retouching on a larger number of images. Commercial product or food photography often requires heavier retouching on fewer images. Both are included in our pricing — but the volume and depth differ.

Same-day delivery adds value, not always cost. For events where you want to post on LinkedIn the same evening, same-day photo selection is built into our event packages as standard. It is not a premium add-on — it is part of how we work.

Headshot photography — what does it actually cost in Copenhagen?

Headshots are the most requested photography format we handle — and the one with the widest range of what “headshots” actually means.

An individual session for a founder or executive who needs a strong LinkedIn portrait and a couple of press-ready images runs 30–60 minutes and starts from 4,500 DKK. That covers the shoot, professional retouching and delivery in high-resolution and web-optimised formats.

Team headshot days are different. When a company books us to shoot 15, 30 or 60 people at their Copenhagen office, the day rate reflects the logistics — portable studio setup, scheduling coordination, back-to-back 15-minute slots, consistent lighting across every person, and a high volume of selects and retouching. Most team headshot days start from 7,500 DKK for a half-day setup and scale based on the number of people involved.

Event photography — how pricing works for conferences and launches

Event photography is priced by time on site, not by image count. A half-day booking (up to 4 hours) covers most product launches, award ceremonies, smaller conferences and evening events. A full-day booking covers multi-session conferences, all-day brand activations and events that run from morning registration through to evening networking.

Same-day photo selection is included in all our event photography packages — a curated set of the best images from the day, colour-corrected and delivered the same evening so you can post while the event is still trending. The full edited gallery follows within 3–7 business days.

We have covered events at Bella Center, Tivoli Congress Center, DGI Byen, Tivoli Hotel and dozens of hotels and conference centres across Copenhagen. The venues vary — the quality of coverage does not.

Commercial and brand photography — when you need more than a shoot day

Commercial photography for campaigns, advertising and brand content is a different category from event or portrait work. The pricing reflects a fuller production — location scouting, creative direction, a professional crew, and post-production that goes beyond standard retouching into compositing, colour grading and multi-format delivery.

Most commercial photography projects start from 15,000 DKK for a full-day production and scale based on crew size, number of locations and the complexity of post-production. For large-scale campaigns or productions involving talent, the scope is always agreed in detail before any invoice is issued.

We produced commercial photography for Louis Vuitton Copenhagen as part of their Mother’s Day campaign — a production that required precise on-brand visual standards, an unhurried pace and retouching aligned to luxury brand specifications. That level of production is not priced as a standard day rate because it is not a standard day’s work.

When the same crew covers photo and video on the same day, you save on setup time, travel and coordination. The visual style stays consistent across everything delivered. And from a client perspective, one shoot day, one brief and one point of contact is significantly less work than managing two separate bookings.

Most of our largest productions — Volaris Quadrants at Bella Center, the Veeva R&D Summit, 3daysofdesign coverage for Gessi and Vibia — combined video and photography from a single crew across multiple days. The photography from those productions was used for press releases, LinkedIn posts, internal communications and website updates within 24 hours of being shot.
