Cannes Lions 2026 x Culture3
Cannes Lions is one of the most concentrated moments in the global marketing and creative calendar. In June 2026, we were on the ground in Cannes producing content for two clients running parallel activations at the same private villa on Avenue Fiesole.
For Culture3, we covered their Offstage Dinner series — three consecutive evenings of invite-only conversations around the theme of genuine influence, with evenings sponsored by Higgsfield. The brief was editorial and documentary in feel: capture the atmosphere, the conversations and the people without the production feeling intrusive. Higgsfield’s involvement added a distinct brand layer to each evening — moments that needed to feel natural within the flow of the dinner rather than produced around it. Intimate rooms, low light, real moments.
For Tomorrow Group and Disrupt Marketing, we covered two morning brunch sessions on the same days — roundtable conversations, vox pop interviews with attendees and b-roll of the villa setting and Cannes surroundings.
Ako handled all five sessions solo as cinematographer — a demanding schedule across five consecutive half-days and evenings, delivering consistent quality across both clients, both formats and the distinct visual requirements of Higgsfield’s sponsored presence within the Culture3 evenings
